Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SwiftDeliva (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to senders, recipients, riders and administrators.

2. Our service

SwiftDeliva is a dispatch marketplace that connects people who need packages delivered with independent riders. We facilitate matching, tracking and payment, but the delivery itself is performed by independent riders who are not employees of SwiftDeliva.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

4. Bookings & payments

Delivery fares are calculated from a base fee plus distance, and may include surge pricing during peak demand. The total fare is shown before you confirm. Payments are processed via your wallet or Paystack. Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Prohibited items

You may not send illegal, hazardous, perishable-restricted, stolen, or otherwise prohibited goods. SwiftDeliva reserves the right to refuse or cancel any delivery that violates this policy, applicable law, or that endangers riders.

6. Rider obligations

Riders agree to complete accepted deliveries promptly and professionally, maintain valid documentation and a roadworthy vehicle, and handle packages with care. Riders are paid their share of each fare according to the agreed commission or salary model.

7. Cancellations & refunds

Orders may be cancelled before a rider is assigned at no charge. After assignment, cancellation fees may apply. If no rider accepts your order, you are not charged. Refunds for failed deliveries are credited to your wallet.

8. Liability

SwiftDeliva provides the Platform “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the delivery fare in question. Eligible deliveries may be covered by insurance as described at booking.

9. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud, abuse riders or staff, or misuse the Platform. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@swiftdeliva.com or through our Contact page.
